The hostel boasts a well-maintained shared kitchen, featuring two stoves and an array of utensils, ideal for those, like myself, who appreciate self-catering during travel. My room was located on the first floor, which proved beneficial during the sweltering summer heat, and its sunny disposition enhanced the overall atmosphere. The hostel offers a myriad of clean shower facilities and toilets on each floor, ensuring convenience for all guests. While its location is a bit farther from the old town than some competitors, the surrounding area maintains a distinctly enjoyable charm for avid walkers. Free luggage storage post check-out is a thoughtful touch for explorers looking to maximize their time in the city. Housekeeping staff maintained high cleanliness standards, contributing to a pleasant environment. The notable warmth of the staff, particularly at reception, made for an inviting experience, although the level of friendliness varied during my stay. All in all, Ostriv Hostel serves as a wise choice for budget-conscious travelers in search of a comfortable resting spot.
